Why Hekta exists
Hekta is a social habit tracker for small groups of friends. Pick a challenge, invite your group, and keep one shared streak alive by logging a daily check-in and cheering each other on. Built for iOS.
Most habit apps shame you. They count your misses, rank you against strangers, and leave you to keep a streak alone. Hekta takes the opposite approach: it gathers a small group of friends around one shared goal, where the streak belongs to everyone and showing up matters more than winning.
There are no leaderboards and nobody wins. The flame is shared, or it isn't lit. A grace window lets a late check-in still count, so one slow day need not break the streak.
How it works
A group picks one challenge (100 burpees in 100 days, 30 days no sugar, Spanish for 15 minutes) and everyone logs the same goal with one tap a day. You see each other's progress and send a quick cheer. That's the whole app: it's small by design and fits into your existing routine.
No leaderboards
Nobody wins and nobody is ranked. The point is the habit, not the scoreboard.
The flame is shared
One streak belongs to the whole group, and a grace window lets a late check-in still count.
